Since our establishment in 1995, we have grown from a small sub-contract drawing office to one of the most recognised and reliable Steel and Metalwork contractors in Scotland.

Metalwork UK operates a certified quality management system to ISO9001:2015 and has achieved full compliance and certification to BSEN1090 EXC Class 3 - demonstrating our ability to consistently deliver high quality products conforming to customer demands and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. This endorses our commitment to the quality of our work, products, systems, procedures and service.

Apprenticeships are at the heart of our continued growth and success.  Our apprentice training provides individuals with the skills and qualifications required to carve out a career in welding and fabrication.  We offer apprenticeships in welding and fabrication, Structural draughting and a range of administration roles.

We have been a key sub-contractor on several high-profile projects throughout Scotland including The Macallan Distillery & Visitor Centre, The new Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre, Wick NDA and The National Velodrome, Glasgow. 

We have site erection squads based in the North of Scotland and in the central belt to enable us to offer competitive rates throughout Scotland.  All our site teams are fully equipped to carry out site installations and fabrication work when needed.
