SITE FABRICATORS/ERECTORS.

We are currently looking for experienced site-based fabricators and erectors for projects based across Scotland. These are permanent positions offering competitive rates of pay.

We are currently working on projects in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and the Highlands. Accommodation and overnight allowances are paid where required.

Duties will include:

Installation of steelwork and architectural metalwork

Use of MEWP’s

Slinger/signalling

Understanding of general arrangement and elevation drawings

Working as part of a small team

Key Qualifications & Attributes:

CSCS Steel erector or fabricator card

IPAF or CPCS MEWP categories 3a3b (preferred)

CPCS Telehandler 17C (preferred)

Positive attitude to safety and quality

Works well on own initiative and as part of a team

An understanding of structural principles

Looking to learn attitude

Punctual and reliable

Rate:  Above average

TEKLA STRUCTURES DRAUGHTSPERSON

Metalwork UK are looking to recruit a time served draughtsperson. We detail structural steelwork, stairs, balustrades and architectural metalwork of all types.

Applicant to be competent in Tekla Structures

The Role:

The successful candidate with be expected to be able to work both on their own and as part of our drawing office team. They would be dealing direct with clients, architects and engineers. With a large variance in the types of work we carry out every day provides a new and interesting challenge.
